Folk wisdom states that pregnant women using their hands will cause the umbilical cord to wrap around the baby’s neck, posing a danger to the unborn child. However, in reality, this belief has been completely debunked by experts as there is no scientific evidence to support it.
The occurrence of the umbilical cord wrapping around the baby’s neck is due to the movements and positions of the baby in the womb, causing the umbilical cord to inadvertently wrap around the neck.
